Jiggy Walker is a fictional character in the HBO series Oz, played by American hip hop artist and actor LL Cool J.
Prisoner 98W504, Jiggy Walker. Convicted on July 12, 1998 for murder in second degree. Sentence of 28 years, up for parole in 20.
Walker was arrested for killing a man (even though it was in self-defense) after cheating at a poker game. While in OZ, he mostly is known as a slickster, lying and cheating on virtually any subject to get ahead in prison.
As soon as he arrived in Emerald City, Jiggy told his sponsor, Bob Rebadow, that he was Governor James Devlin's former crack dealer. When he finds out about it, Kareem Said asks Walker if he would publicly accuse Devlin in exchange for the possibility of release from Oz. Walker accepts and participates in several interviews. To prove his innocence, Devlin goes to Oz and conducts a media interview where he confronts Walker. After the Governor proves his innocence, Jiggy admits he lied. Said and Tim McManus ask him why, and he says he didn't want to be forgotten by his family and maybe they would visit him for a little longer if he was famous. He is moved to Unit B and is never seen again.
He is, however, mentioned again in Season 3, Episode 2 by Saeed when talking to Augustus on whether he should tell the authorities about his suspicions that Snake has killed the Ciancimino family.
